I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and that Santa was good to you.

I subscribe to Jackie Robinson’s theory that our single greatest purpose on this earth is to influence another human being’s life.I hope you will take an opportunity to influence someone else’s life in the waining moments of 2010 and BEYOND.

I touched down in Sunny Orlando yesterday evening and woke up to the TWC’s forecast of “abundant sunshine.” I can deal with that!

What a game last night, I tweeted throughout the game that neither team wanted to lay down and that rang true to the very last part of the game.  I know sports talk show hosts and columnists had a great day debating whether Smith should have gone for it on 4th and 6.

We will never know, but the good thing is both teams will live to play another day.

In just a few hours we will have Tuesday night football in the NFL, sounds funky, huh?

Well,  that is because it is!!

I love Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell’s statement that we have become a nation of wusses (http://tinyurl.com/2cg39ol).

I am  keeping busy here in Orlando, reporting from the Capital One Bowl. I believe we are going to have a GREAT game on our hands, folks!

Alabama is still feeling the sting from the Iron Bowl and State is reeling from being passed over after a one loss season.
